<p>For obtaining a high-load transmission V-belt that exhibits enhanced cold resistance without detriment to high temperature durability, ensures belt transmission capacity and realizes enhanced fatigue set resistance, a rubber composition comprising 100 parts by weight of rubber component, the rubber component composed of EPDM and HNBR at a ratio of EPDM/HNBR of 55/45 to 75/25, blended with 20 to 40 parts by weight of organic acid metal salt monomer and 5 to 35 parts by weight of staple fibers, which rubber composition exhibits a rubber hardness by durometer type D of 40 to 60, a t5, determined by Gehman torsion test, of -50 to -35ºC and an acetone extract of 9% or less is used as a rubber element of the belt.</p> |
