<p>A system for attaining a facility/personnel plan by exploring objectively and mathematically whether the production capacity is increased by expanding the facility or the personnel input quantitatively or by improving the facility qualitatively when increase of production capacity is required. The inventive system comprises means for calculating such an investment plan indicating the investment amount for quantitative expansion and the timing of investment, and the investment amount for qualitative improvement and the timing of investment as minimizing the total sum of the investment amounts for quantitative expansion and qualitative improvement and the running cost required for production from means for storing the relation between the investment amount and the production capacity for quantitative expansion, means for storing the relation between the investment amount and the production capacity for qualitative improvement, and means for calculating the running cost required for production.</p> |
