An electric synchronous machine has a bell-shaped rotor with alternate side-by-side positioning of its permanent magnets. At least one of the stator elements associated with the single rotor ring carries two or more phase-windings uniformly distributed around the periphery, each comprising rectified pole-groups with uniform, concentrating tooth-pitch in which the pole pitch and the number of stator teeth and groups is selected so that between the phases a phase-shift arises, corresponding to their number.
