The invention concerns a method for making a microwave window (26, 50, 80) for separating media (32, 34) comprising a partitioning disc (36, 54, 81, 90, 100, 130, 145, 147) transparent to microwave electromagnetic waves and at least a collar (42, 44, 52, 84, 102, 104, 161, 164) having the shape of a cylindrical tube brazed through one of its edges on one of the two sides (38, 40, 82, 83, 101, 132, 136) of the disc. The invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one step which consists in depositing a thin film of active solder (86) on the edge of the collar to be brazed on one of the two sides of the disc, then in brazing the tube on the disc. The invention also concerns a media partitioning microwave window obtained by said method having at least one collar having the shape of a circular cylindrical tube with a generatrix close to a straight line. The invention is applicable to high-power microwave tubes, microwave propagation lines.
