<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for inkjet which can achieve both water resistance and paper-free characteristics and moreover is excellent in preservation stability. <P>SOLUTION: The ink comprises at least a coloring material, water, a water- soluble organic solvent and a resin emulsion in which a resin fine particle having a glass transition temperature of not lower than 0°C and not higher than 100°C is dispersed, where the resin fine particle exists as a fine particle in the ink. Preferably, the resin emulsion has a minimum film formation temperature of not higher than 25°C. Preferably, the resin fine particle in the resin emulsion (1) is a styrene-acrylic copolymer, (2) has a weight-average molecular weight of at least 10,000 and at most 200,000, (3) has an average particle size of at most 200 nm and (4) is contained in an amount of at least 1 wt.% and at most 20 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
