PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new single crystal ceramic powder which has not existed before.

SOLUTION: The single crystal ceramic powder comprising small particles having a sphericity of ≥0.9 and small diameters can be obtained via a powder- supplying process for supplying the powder consisting of ceramic ingredients to a heat-treatment area together with a carrier gas, a heat treatment process for heating the powder supplied to the heat-treatment area to a temperature at which each particle of the powder is turned into a single crystal, and a cooling process for cooling the material obtained in the heating process for obtaining the single crystal ceramic powder.
