<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate heat pipe having a joint portion formed by seam welding between an upper plate material and a lower plate material and a sealed cavity portion formed by the upper plate material and the lower plate material, its mounting structure and a plate heat pipe manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The plate heat pipe 100 comprises the cavity portion 101 to be filled with an operating fluid, formed by seam welding between the upper plate material 102 and the lower plate material 103. The seam welding between the upper plate material 102 and the lower plate material 103 forms seam welded portions 105a, 105b, 105c, 105d in linear shape. The sealing property of the cavity portion 101 is further improved by crossing the adjacent seam welded portions, namely, by forming seam welded crossing portions 106a, 106b, 106c, 106d where the seam welded portions overlap each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
