<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator for an air bag for individually adjusting a combustion condition of a gas generating agent of respective combustion chambers with respective combustion chambers by arranged two combustion chambers in a housing, easy in manufacture, and satisfying a request for miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: In this gas generator for the air bag, an inner cylinder member having a cylindrical peripheral wall is arranged in the housing having a gas exhaust port, the two combustion chambers partitioned by the inner cylinder member are arranged, the respective combustion chambers are respectively filled with the gas generating agent for generating operating gas by combustion, and the operating gas generated in the respective combustion chambers reaches the gas exhaust port via mutually different passages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
