<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating vest designed to retain a folded state without bulking. <P>SOLUTION: The floating vest is formed of a left front body part 1, a right front body part 2 and a back body part 3. A buoyancy material 8 is housed between a right side fabric 1a and a lining cloth 1b of the left body part 1 and a buoyancy material 8' is housed between a right side fabric 2a and a lining cloth 2b of the right front body part 2. A buoyancy material 9 is housed between a right side fabric 3a and a lining cloth 3b of the back body part 3 to form a bent part 9b composed of a groove formed into a thin wall along the center line α in the longitudinal direction of the buoyancy material 9. Securing parts 19 and 20 composed of engaging tools mutually engaging with belts 17 and 18 at opposite positions are attached near the lower side of arm holes of the right side fabrics 1a and 2a of the left and right front body parts 1 and 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
