PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively recording digital images on a motion picture photosensitive medium by using a secondary optical modulator while satisfying requirements of the present standards. SOLUTION: The method for receiving the information relating to the image aperture format and image type (positive/negative) of the digital images recorded on the motion picture photosensitive medium in receiving the digital images from a digital image file and recording the corresponding visual images on the motion picture photosensitive medium.
