GROUT ENTRY PREVENTION CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grout entry prevention cap capable of effectively preventing grout from entering between the pipe and tendon of an unbonded cable. SOLUTION: This grout entry prevention cap is fitted to the end part of an unbonded cable formed by covering the outer periphery of the tendon by the pipe. The cap is formed in a tubular body having an opening part 10 at one end, a closed part 20 at the other end, and a small diameter part 30 on the inner periphery thereof. The inner diameter of the small diameter part 30 is equal or less than the outer diameter of the pipe 220. The small diameter part 30 is formed of an elastic material pressing the outer surface of the pipe 220 by deformation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
