PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing a precise hole with an extremely small diameter on a metallic or plastic member. SOLUTION: The method for opening the hole with the extremely small diameter on the metallic or plastic member comprises providing a slightly bigger base-hole than the desired hole with the extremely small diameter in the member; immersing the member having a thread passed through the base hole, which has an approximately same diameter as the desired hole and can be removed by drawing or can be dissolved and removed by a chemical agent, into a plating bath; taking it out from the plating bath, when the inside diameter of the base hole has reached a desired diameter of the hole with the extremely small diameter after growth of the plating layer on the inner wall of the base hole; and removing the thread by drawing or dissolving it with the chemical agent liquid to form the hole with the extremely small diameter.
