<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize new additional functions highly convenient to users other than a security function and an automatic meter reading function with low electricity consumption without giving excessive specifications to a gas meter. <P>SOLUTION: An additional function unit 200 is annexed to or added to the exterior or interior of the gas meter 100 in addition to a structure as the gas meter itself for executing basic functions as a commonly used meter for gas flow.
