PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink filter for an inkjet cartridge which has a high filtering efficiency under a pressure decrease in a wide range and can resist highly corrosive chemical substances. SOLUTION: The ink filter for the inkjet cartridge includes a filter element 54 which is formed of a polymeric material, is configured to prevent particles in ink from passing through the filter, and has a peripheral edge; and a carrier 56 which is overmolded around the peripheral edge of the filter element 54, and has a peripheral part (for example, a carrier lip 60 with an elasticity) configured to form a fluid seal adhesive to the ink cartridge 18.
