<p>A transmission side, which includes first through N-th moving image encoding transmission parts (101-1 through 101-N), compresses and encodes a moving image data into N number of encoded data for transmission. By use of an inter-frame prediction referring to the frame at the same time as the inter-frame prediction by the first moving image encoding transmission part (101-1), the second through N-th moving image encoding transmission parts (101-2 through 101-N) encode, at a compression rate which is higher than or the same as that of the first encoded data, the frame encoded by the first moving image encoding transmission part (101-1). A reception side selects and decodes, on a frame-by-frame or packet-by-packet basis, the encoded data having the lowest compression rate and the highest image quality among the normally received encoded data.</p> |
