<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment apparatus for fly ash capable of preventing the separation of a salt, such as ammonium chloride, in a condenser. <P>SOLUTION: The heat treatment apparatus for the fly ash is provided with a heater 1 for heating the fly ash produced from an incineration furnace and the condenser 4 for cooling the heat treating gas produced by heating the fly ash in the heater 1 and is constructed to return the heat treating gas cooled in the condenser 4 to the heater 1.
