PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molding method for a compound lens capable of certainly and easily carrying out the release of a mold and a compound layer. SOLUTION: In the method for forming the compound lens by transferring the compound layer comprising a photosetting resin to one surface of a glass lens using a mold, the third transfer surface 4c is provided, which crosses the peeling direction of the mold 4 at a right angle so as to cause the release of the mold 4 and the compound layer 3, to the outer periphery part of the first transfer surface 4a that constitutes a mirror surface between the forming die 4 and the compound layer 3.
