PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for contriving an elaborate background sound to be produced when been in a special game state. SOLUTION: The game machine (1) produces the background sound in timing that a prescribed condition is established, and when been in the special game state advantageous to a player. The game machine includes a sound control circuit (32) for producing different background sound from the background sound in a specified period which is set during the special game state, and a speaker (40).
