PURPOSE: An apparatus for filtering foreign matters of a car air conditioner is provided to prevent accumulation of the filtered foreign matters. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a front case, a rear case and a spiral tube filtering unit(40). The front case is connected to a front side of an HVAC(Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) unit, and has an outlet formed on one side thereof, and an auxiliary fan allowing inside air to be discharged through the outlet. The rear case is connected to the HVAC unit, and has a usual secondary filter. The spiral tube filtering unit is connected between the first case and the rear case, and comprises an inside tube(41); an outside tube(42) inserted to cover the inside tube; and a spiral channel(44) formed by a spiral guiding tube interposed between the inside tube and the outside tube. A front end of the inside tube is connected to an inside of the front case while a rear end of the inside tube is placed in the outside tube. A rear end of the outside tube is connected to the inside of the front case while a front end of the outside tube is exposed to the outside.
