<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact container with decoration capable of impressing transparent or translucent feeling at inside and shiny metallic feeling at outside, in which a mirror and a double-sided self-adhesive tape stuck to the inside of a lid are made difficult to recognize positively from outside. <P>SOLUTION: The compact container 1 is formed by openably jointing a lid 3 to the container body 2 housing a cosmetic 5 by a hinge part. The lid 3 is formed by molding a transparent or translucent resin, and a half-mirror decoration is applied to the outside of the lid 3. The mirror is arranged to the inner surface of the lid 3.
