PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold device for molding which shortens or dispenses with a dwelling process and can obtain a molding high in dimensional precision. SOLUTION: Runners 61 which are mutually opened/closed and form a material passage between them when a mold is closed and a fixed mold 32 and a movable mold 33 to be mold bodies for forming a cavity 34 communicating with the runners 61 through a gate 62 are provided. A movable cavity forming member 73 which forms the gate 62 between it and the fixed mold 32 and moves toward the fixed mold 32 to close the gate 62 is provided. The gate 62 is cut by the movement of the movable cavity forming member 73, and the cavity 34 is compressed by the portion of the movement of the member 73. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
