PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a processing method for a mold capable of smoothing the surface of a rotary member. SOLUTION: Discharge processing is applied to the cavity surface 14 of a core 27 for molding a pivot 25 excepting a pivot 25, and the core 72 is subsequently mounted on a lathe. The core 72 is rotated in the rotary direction of the pivot 25 to apply cutting processing to the cavity surface 74. As mentioned above, by applying cutting processing to the cavity surface 74 for molding the contact of the pivot 25 with a leaf spring by rotating the core 72 in the rotary direction of the pivot 25, the cavity surface 74 becomes continuous and the surface thereof becomes smooth differently from discharge processing. Therefore, the slide resistance with the leaf spring becomes small in the pivot 25 molded by a mold 70, and fluctuations of torque is not generated and smooth rotation is obtained.
