PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a scald from occurring when a hot water is supplied into a bathtub. SOLUTION: A leg bath comprises: the bathtub 6 for storing the hot water; a heater 36 as a heat source for heat insulating the hot water supplied into the bathtub 6 in a predetermined temperature rangeΔT; a water temperature detecting thermistor 58 as a detecting means for detecting the temperature of the water in the bathtub 6; and a control circuit 52 as a control means for recognizing an abnormal temperature by displaying the abnormal temperature on a display unit 43 when the temperature detected by the thermistor 58 is higher than the upper limit of the temperature rangeΔT or an alarm by an alarm unit 68. Thus, a user can surely recognize that the temperature of the hot water in the bathtub is the abnormal temperature, and the user can be prevented from being scalded. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
