<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overlay mattress composed so as to comfort to an evaluation standard of a bedsore countermeasure. <P>SOLUTION: Portions abutting on shoulders (a shoulder blade periphery) and a lumbar (a sacred bone periphery) of a human body are thickened in comparison with other portions, and they are respectively provided with a shoulder swelling part 1a and a lumbar swelling part 1b. A soft raw material 6 with a thickness set at 30-70 mm, apparent density of 10-100 kg/m<SP>3</SP>, and compressive hardness of 10-400 N is used. Machining for adjusting repulsion can be applied to the shoulder swelling part 1a and the lumbar swelling part 1b. An outer material 5 can cover all of a top face, side face and bottom face of the soft raw material 6, or it can cover one parts of the top face, side face and bottom face.
