MATRIX FOR CULTIVATING HEPATOCYTE

摘要

PURPOSE: A matrix for cultivating hepatocytes is provided, thereby culturing hepatocytes in higher density under the human body-like condition. CONSTITUTION: A matrix for cultivating hepatocytes is prepared by coating impurity removed and sterilized polyurethane foam with a gelatin solution; rapidly cooling the gelatin coated polyurethane foam; freeze-drying the gelatin coated polyurethane foam; dipping the freeze-dried gelatin-coated polyurethane foam in a glutaraldehyde solution as a bridging agent; washing the gelatin-coated polyurethane foam to remove unnecessary glutaraldehyde solution; and dipping the gelatin-coated polyurethane foam in a glycine solution to remove unreacted glutaraldehyde solution.
