<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a glucose dehydrogenase that has conventionally unknown resistance to heat and alkalis and/or improved specific activity by the genetic engineering and to provide methods for producing a recombinant vector, a transformant, and the glucose dehydrogenase by using the recombinant and to provide a glucose assaying kit. <P>SOLUTION: The glucose dehydrogenase contains a specific amino acid sequence or an amido acid sequence from/for/to which one or several amino acids may be deleted, substituted or added and has resistance to heat and alkalis and/or improved specific activity. Further, a gene encoding these glucose dehydrogenase, genes each having the specific base sequence, recombinant vectors containing these genes, and the collection of glucose dehydrogenase that is produced by culturing the transformant and glucose assaying kit are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
