PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop the dehydration treatment operation of a filter press by sensing the dehydration treatment completion period of the filter press certainly and accurately. SOLUTION: The almost spoon-shaped filtrate receiving part 10 arranged in the filtrate discharge route R of the filter press is provided to one end of a lever 11 and a weight 12 is provided to the lever to form a freely shakable quantitative automatic drain device 13. The change in the flow rate of a filtrate is converted to the interval of the shaking time of the lever 11 and this shaking interval is detected by a detector 14. When the shaking interval becomes a preset time, the control unit PC of the filter press connected to the detector stops the dehydration treatment operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
