PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that performs game progress control as usual by automatically restoring a program even if it is altered. SOLUTION: A control part 1510 provided by gate-arrayed security IC determines whether or not a change is made in an operation program 1501 stored in a ROM 201, and when the change is made, the control part 1510 restores the program to the original program, whereby even if the program is altered, it is automatically restored to conduct the game progress control as usual. The control part 1510 determines in consideration of conformity between the gate arrayed basic program part 1520 and the operation program 1501 stored in a ROM 201 to easily determine whether or not the program is altered.
