PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking apparatus for a game machine which demonstrates strong locking force and prevents illegal unlocking. SOLUTION: Hook members are tiltably pivoted on the upper apart and the lower part of the supporting plate 3 of a base frame body 1 comprising a fitting plate 2 and the supporting plate 3 via pivots, and a linking rod 4 is arranged so as to tilt the hook member along the supporting plate 3. A cylinder lock 10 is fitted to a part of the fitting plate with its lock shaft directed to the inside of the base frame body, and a cam plate 9 is fitted to the lock shaft of the cylinder lock so that the cam plate 9 can be engaged with the linking rod. At the upper part and the lower part of the supporting plate 3, respective pairs of the hook parts 5, 6 and 7, 8 are pivoted tiltably so as to make their engaging recess parts face each other from upper and lower sides, and a single pair of the hook members are engaged with each other so as to pinch the engaging part of a receiving metal fitting in the vertical direction.
