The implant has at least two implant pieces (1-5) stacked to form a desired implant height. The outermost implant pieces have anchoring sides (6,7) the face adjacent vertebra. Tooth portions are formed to the anchoring sides, to prevent displacement of the implant piece to any directions relative to the vertebra. Plug-type connections fix the implant pieces to each other.
