PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for duplexing transmission of an intermediate frequency by using an analog switch are provided to maintain operation of a base station without troubles by switching an abnormal path. CONSTITUTION: A power detector(500) inspects the abnormality of an intermediate frequency transmitting terminal output signal for outputting the result of the inspection. An FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)(600) receives a signal output from the power detector(500) for outputting a control signal for selecting paths of the first amplifier(410) and the second amplifier(420). An analog switch(300) selects one of the paths of the first amplifier(410) and the second amplifier(420) according to the control signal transmitted from the FPGA(600) for switching.
