PURPOSE: A data driving device of an electro-luminescence display panel and a driving method thereof are provided to control the constant current according to the amount of load of the electro-luminescence display panel by using a constant current control portion mounted within a data driver. CONSTITUTION: A data driving device of an electro-luminescence display panel includes a constant current source, a micro processing unit(56), and a constant current control portion(60). The constant current source is used for supplying constant current signals to a plurality of data electrode lines. The micro processing unit(56) is used for storing constant current control data of multiple levels and outputting selectively the constant current control data according to the average amount of luminance of the electro-luminescence display panel. The constant current control portion(60) controls the constant current signals of the constant current source in response to the constant current control data.
