<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which is wide in an oscillation range of a therapeutic instrument in carrying out a therapeutic treatment of the lesion under observation by the endoscope and is good in operability. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope provided with an observation window 9 configurating an objective optical system for taking endoscope images and distal end side apertures of at least one or more therapeutic instrument insertion channels 17 within the distal end 5 of an endoscope insertion portion 2 is provided with oscillation means capable of oscillating the therapeutic instruments 53 led out of the distal end side apertures 43 of the channels 17 in the hour directions near the distal end side apertures 43 of the channels 17.
