SPRINKLER HEAD PROTECTIVE CAP-REMOVING TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkler head protective cap-removing tool which can easily and surely remove the protective cap from a sprinkler head by a continuous remote control in the vertical direction. SOLUTION: This sprinkler head protective cap-removing tool 1 is used to remove the protective cap 10 being fitted on the sprinkler head 9 for fire extinguishment. The protective cap-removing tool 1 is equipped with a presser 2 which presses the protective cap 10, a tool base body 3 which urges the presser 2 upward by a spring member (urging means) 2a, and a locking claw 4 which is attached to the tool base body 3 in such a manner that the claw part 4a may be engaged with an annular groove (engaging part) 10a of the protective cap 10 while interlocking with the pressing motion of the presser 2. Then, the protective cap-removing tool 1 is constituted in such a manner that an operating rod 7 of which the length is adjustable is detachably attached to the lower side of the tool base body 3.
