<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant culture apparatus for a ship, resistant to the oscillation such as the swing of the ship, free from the trouble of the leakage of the hydroponic solution (culture solution) supplied to a culture bed by the swing of the ship and enabling quick and continuous culture and harvest of a necessary amount of crops in a small space. <P>SOLUTION: The plant culture apparatus is composed of culture racks having culture spaces 34 divided into several stages, a culture bed 21 placed in the culture space 34, a highly light-reflecting culture panel 22 having a plurality of small holes 28 for placing a carrier 23 holding a planted plant 27, carriers 23 to plug the small holes 28, highly light-reflecting plates 37, 38, 39 covering the circumference of the culture space 34, an artificial light source 31, culture solution supplying means 29, 30 to supply the solution to the culture bed 21, and an air-conditioner 33 to control the temperature and humidity of the space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
