<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recombinant nucleic acid for preparing AIDS vaccine through the recombinant nucleic acid sequence technique. <P>SOLUTION: A part of the gene of AIDS is joined to influenza virus to prepare a recombinant influenza virus. The AIDS vaccine can be (1) nasally inoculated, (2) be inexpensively mass-produced, (3) be boosted by changing the subtype, (4) induces immune globulin, particularly IgA in virus-infected individuals, (5) has the CTL (cytotoxic T lymphocyte) activity induction ability as an essential body of cellular immunity reaction and (6) has high safety because the infection is transient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
