PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser marking method for a molded memory card capable of forming a white marking on a chromatic ground surface with a high contrast without the occurrence of ruggedness.

SOLUTION: The molded memory card of the chromatic ground surface obtained by molding a thermoplastic resin composition is subjected to laser marking of white color development by irradiating the molded memory card with a laser. The laser marking is performed by irradiating the molded memory card with second harmonic waves of a YAG laser.
