ROTARY POWDER COMPRESSION MOLDING MACHINE AND UPPER PESTLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotary powder compression molding machine which can improve the cleanability of a rotary disk and can drastically reduce a processing cost for stopping the rotation of an upper pestle. SOLUTION: The machine is provided with the upper pestle 12 which is freely slidably inserted into an upper pestle guide hole 3 of an upper pestle mount 2 of the rotary disk 1 and is put into and out of a mortar 7 from above. The upper pestle 12 has an upper pestle body 13, a roller shaft 14 projected to the upper part of the upper pestle body and a cam-driven roller 15 attached to the roller shaft to make rolling contact with an upper cam 11. The roller shaft 14 passes through a roller shaft through-groove 4 formed in the upper pestle mount 2 oppositely to the upper can 11. A pair of sliding surfaces 16a formed at the roller shaft 14 are brought into contact respectively freely slidingly with opposing groove flanks 4a of the groove 4 and the rotation of the upper pestle 12 is stopped by the contact thereof without using keys.
