The panoramic audiophone for sonar processes signals received by a passive sonar. The audiophone opens channels in the direction of each contact and a time and frequency isolator (120-122) is provided for each channel. Left-right treatment modules (130,132) for each signal filter the incoming signals for reception by the human ear corresponding to each contact. There are summing circuits (141,142) for each ear. A bi-aural sound receiver (150) receives the summed signals from the left and right transducers.
