PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knockdown frame A having a linking device 1 wherein a construction of the linking device 1 is simplified, angular parts in notched parts of frame casings 30a and 30b are safe, and a back plate holder 50b is securely fitted. SOLUTION: The knockdown frame A has the linking device 1 for mutually linking end parts of the frame casings 30a and 30b in a specified angle. A lateral face 3a of the linking device 1 is inserted to recessed grooves 32a1 and 32a2 which are formed on the frame casings 30a, and a projection 5a of the linking device 1 is fitted to a fitting hole 33a of the frame casing 30a, so that the end parts of the frame casings are mutually linked in a specified angleα. The back plate holder 50b has a U-shape, wherein an upper sandwiching piece 37a is sandwiched between an outside piece and an inside piece of the U-shape so as to latch onto the frame casing 30b.
