PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine by which resources are utilized effectively and which can efficiently be replaced with a new type of machine. SOLUTION: In the slot machine, a game can be started by setting the number of medals to be bet to a single game, the single game is finished by leading and displaying the display result of reel units 302L, 302C and 302R whose displaying state can be varied, and prescribed prize-winning can occur according to the display result of the reel units 301L, 302C and 302R. The slot machine comprises a slot machine main body consisting of a casing and a front surface door, and a main unit 300 fitted to the slot machine main body in a replaceable manner. The main unit 300 is constituted by integrally assembling components provided as functional modules comprising at least the reel units 302L, 302C and 302R and a game control substrate 200 for controlling the state of a game.
