<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gene recombinant antibody or its antibody fragments, for example, a hominized antibody that strongly bonds to hIGF-I to inhibit its functions in order to effectively treating a variety of diseases including cancers relating to the hIGF. <P>SOLUTION: This invention provides the gene recombinant antibody that specifically bonds to hIGF-I, does not recognize the primary sequence epitope of hIGF-I but recognizes the three-dimensional structure of human hIGF-I and its antibody fragments and further provides a diagnostic agent, a prophylactic agent and a therapeutic agent containing the antibody for diseases, e.g. cancer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
