PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain culm conveying unit for a combine harvester, with which a traveling apparatus is driven even while not releasing the clogged state of grain culms and grain culm clogging is not deteriorated in a combine harvester for stopping an engine by detecting the grain culm clogging of the grain culm conveying unit. SOLUTION: In the combine harvester for stopping the engine by detecting the grain culm clogging of the grain culm conveying unit, when the clutch of the grain culm conveying unit is disengaged in the clogged state of the grain culms, the engine is restarted and the grain culm conveying unit is not driven even if the clutch lever of the grain culm conveying unit is reengaged.
