PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive apparatus which simplifies positional adjustment of a stripping edge and efficiently strips the material into three or more plates at once in a simple setup on the occasion of a stripping process called gang machining in particular, regarding a stripping apparatus that cuts up wood into a plurality of plates in the direction of the grain by a circular saw blade. SOLUTION: The stripping apparatus is equipped with the circular saw blade 3 for stripping and a feed roller 4 which is axially fitted to an upper frame 5 disposed above a table surface and gives a frictional feeding force to the wood. The upper frame 5 is supported by a lower frame 1 so that the position thereof is adjustable in the horizontal direction intersecting perpendicularly the direction of feeding of the wood to be machined, and the stripping edge 16 for preventing the split of the stripped wood from narrowing is fixed to the upper frame 5. A rebound preventing member 28 preventing the rebound of the wood after it is stripped is provided at the end of the upper frame 5 on the upstream side in the direction of feeding of the wood.
