PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality information system in a septic tank (partic ularly an air pump incorporated in the septic tank) wherein the equipment is not large scaled, the invested capital is small and the centralized control is carried out in a centralized control center. SOLUTION: The pump abnormality information system in the septic tank is constituted of the septic tank wherein the air pump is incorporated, a user's network, an external network and a network in the centralized control center. When an abnormality detecting part 5 in the air pump 1 detects the abnormality of the pump, the abnormality signal is transferred successively to an interface part b (8) in a mediation apparatus 7 arranged in the user' network in a user's house and an interface part c (9) from an interface part a (6) and is informed to the centralized control center by an electronic mail through the external network.
