PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exchangeable cosmetic container and a method for exchanging a content by which a defective product generated when manufacturing, can be exchanged by an operation succeeding a series of draw-out operations. SOLUTION: The stick shaped draw-out container, drawing out and pulling down the content by using a driving means, comprises a cylinder-shaped member having a groove extending in the axial direction, a middle plate holding the content, movably set in the cylinder-shaped member, a leading member releasably mounted to the middle plate, a spiral groove having a diameter larger than that of the cylinder-shaped member formed to the inner periphery of the same, and a rotation member capable of relatively rotating against the cylinder-shaped member. The leading member has an engaging means engaging with the groove extending in the axial direction, and a releasing means for releasing the leading member from the state of being mounted to the middle plate. The middle plate moves upward together with the leading member from the start of usage. The position, where the releasing means formed to the leading means and the engaging means formed to the cylinder-shaped member are engaged with each other, becomes the maximum draw-out position.
