The invention relates to a control device for controlling vending machines, especially vending machines provided for dispensing food and drinks, as well as vending machines for adjusting parameters during the preparation of food and drinks. The inventive control device is fundamentally characterized in that it offers a high level of security against an unauthorized use and actuation of vending machines which is accomplished by the provision of a voice analysis as well as a keyword analysis. The control device also offers the possibility of correctly assigning the input voice commands to the various parameters of the vending machine that are to be controlled and of providing control signals in order to selectively control the respective vending machines purely via voice input.
