<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism degrading a polybutylene succinate adipate (PBSA), a polybutylene succinate (PBS) and a polycaprolactone (PCL) which are biodegradable polymers, and to provide a method for degrading these biodegradable polymers. <P>SOLUTION: The method for degrading the biodegradable polymers involves bringing the microorganism degrading the polybutylene succinate adipate (PBSA), the polybutylene succinate (PBS) and the polycaprolactone (PCL) which are the biodegradable polymers and belonging to the genus Burkhoderia, or a cultured product thereof into contact with the polybutylene succinate adipate (PBSA), the polybutylene succinate (PBS) and the polycaprolactone (PCL). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
