PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool allowing a brush to be changed for various motors. SOLUTION: A stator 4 of a motor 2 is supported on a housing 1, the rear end part of which is an opening part 3, and a bearing 7a at the front end of a rotor 6 of the motor 2 is supported on a housing side bearing holding part 5. A brush 9 and an insulating plate 11 having a brush holder 10 are supported on a housing side support part 8 provided on the housing 1 to be freely taken from the opening part 3. A power feeding switch 15 mounted on the housing 1 and a terminal block 38 mounted on the insulating plate 11 are electrically connected to each other. A housing cover 12 is provided with a cover side bearing holding part 13 holding a bearing 7b at the rear end of the rotor 6 of the motor 2 and a cover side support part 14 supporting the insulating plate 11. The housing cover 12 is removably fitted to the opening part 3 of the housing 1 to support the insulating plate 11 removably supported on the housing side support part 8 from the housing cover 12 side by the cover side support part 14.
