PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device optimal for positioning a linear guide rail. SOLUTION: A pressure contact holding piece 5a comprises a pressure contact plate part 6a circumferentially having a pressure contact part surface 7 that is increased in diameter by rotation to contact with one side surface of the linear guide rail R by pressure, and circular boss parts 8 coupled on the lower surface of the pressure contact plate part 6a. A screw head sitting hole 11 and a screw insert hole 12 are penetrated concentrically in the central part of the circular boss parts 8. In an installation surface f, a circular boss hole 31 internally fitting the circular boss parts 8 of the pressure contact holding piece 5a and a female screw hole 32 screwed with a mounting screw 50 are concentrically coupled to form a mounting hole 30. The pressure contact holding piece 5a is turned by a tool, the diameter of the pressure contact part surface 7 is increased to contact the pressure contact part surface 7 with one side surface of the linear guide rail R by pressure. Then, the mounting screw 50 is screwed and fastened to the female screw hole 32 of the mounting hole 30, thereby holding the linear guide rail R. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
